Position: Assurance Services Experienced Staff Accountant
As a key member of our Assurance Services team, you will engage in exciting fieldwork, collaborating closely with management on a range of assurance and audit-related client projects. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with privately held, entrepreneurial businesses across various industries. Your contributions will include:
• Conducting audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Performing agreed-upon procedures
• Evaluating internal controls through in-depth reviews of accounting processes
• Providing support on due diligence and acquisition projects
What You Bring:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
• A minimum of 2 years of full-time public accounting audit experience, with an understanding of GAAP financial statement requirements
• Experience across multiple industries, with expertise in the HUD industry preferred
• A passion for continuous learning and professional growth
• Strong self-motivation, technical aptitude, and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed
