Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

Your main objective will be to provide pre-sales and post-sales support for Keysight's Data and IP Management software products. You will be a part of a very high energy and passionate global Solutions Engineering team responsible for quickly resolving highly technical and complex issues. Regular work would entail interacting with customers to present our products and solutions, provide support, onsite/online training, developing application notes, and helping define product features & flows. There will be a lot of interaction with cross-functional teams like R&D, product, QA, and marketing as well. You should have good communication skills and be able to handle all types of customers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in EE, CE or CS
• 3+ years of related industry (EDA/Semiconductor) experience
• Knowledge of design data management/version control
• Expertise in Unix scripting (Shell, Perl, Tcl)
• Experience with one or more EDA design tools and flows:
• Custom Design Tools with particular emphasis on Cadence Virtuoso
• Digital Design flows from EDA vendors like Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor
• Design Verification tools and flows
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Detail-oriented, well organized, collaborative, and self-motivated
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Cadence Skill
• Expertise in Keysight's (Formerly ClioSoft's) SOS or other design data management solutions
• Experience supporting web-based applications
• Experience with PLM tools
• System administration / networking

Technologies used:

• Languages - Tcl/Tk, Perl, Shell scripting, Python, some C/C++
• Version control - SOS and/or other DM systems like Perforce, Methodics, ICManage, Git, Svn
• Operating systems - Linux, Windows

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education, and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN $119,690- MAX $199,640

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.

This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program.
