JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinates and implements events and programs for residents and families, and supervises Baptist Village campus events.

Responsibilities:

• Document weekly and monthly progress notes in charts.
• Complete extensive Life Enrichment Assessments.
• Maintain documentation for new move-ins, changes in status, and annual assessments.
• Schedule and implement events.
• Create and post monthly calendars at each Nurse’s Station.
• Take attendance at each event.
• Log residents who attended events in log books.
• Responsible for ECC monthly newsletter.
• Attend ECC Resident Council Meeting and take notes.
• Type meeting notes and attach follow-up forms.
• Drive small bus for ECC bus trips when needed.
• Provide in-room events.
• Log in-room events in log book.
• Gather residents for events and assist those who need help.
• Prep and plan annual events, meetings, and care plans.
• Plan Spring Fling.
• Develop Family Care Plans.
• Keep all event resident care plans up to date.
• Coordinate, train, and supervise all volunteers.

Supervisor Duties:

• Responsible for supervision of all events.
• Supervise event staff.
• Responsible for departmental payroll.
• Track employee attendance, vacation days, and sick days.
• Conduct annual employee reviews.
• Counsel employees as needed and document.
• Update and/or write new policies and procedures as needed.
