Loyal is a clinical-stage veterinary medicine company developing drugs intended to extend the lifespan and healthspan of dogs. In other words, our mission is to help dogs live longer, healthier lives.
We've already achieved significant milestones on our path to gaining FDA approval for the first lifespan extension drug for any species. We have three products in our pipeline and are on track to bring the first product to market in 2025.

About The Role
We're seeking an experienced S/VP of Marketing, Veterinary Education to lead Loyal to a successful launch and beyond.
The successful candidate should have a strong intuitive sense for modern consumer brands, be intellectually flexible and humble enough to bounce between talking to veterinarians and dog owners, and be an excellent operator who can get things done quickly and excellently in a startup environment.
You will be reporting to our CEO Celine Hailoua.
Your daily work will include:
- Lock in and execute the LOY-002 go to market and product launch strategy in collaboration with the Loyal leadership team.
- Build out and lead veterinary awareness and education strategy, which will likely include building a veterinary advisory board or similar, coordinating scientific publications with marketing strategy, conference attendance.
- Responsible for building a Field Veterinary Education team that will travel the US activating and educating Veterinarians to carry Loyal.
- Build out and lead consumer/dog owner marketing strategy, which will likely include press, traditional marketing, partnerships, and socials.
- Ensure consistent expression of Loyal's brand in every facet of the company.
- Turn customer insights into action.
- Work with Finance and Operations teams to integrate metrics with marketing performance.
- Website strategy, management, and leading execution.
- Ensuring all aspects of the user experience, including drug label, packaging, and design are excellent, intuitive, and beautiful.
About You
- Proven experience in B2B products.
- Experienced consumer marketing executive with experience marketing for a product selling into Vet Clinics.
- Must have practitioner experience (Vets, Human Doctors, Dentists).
- Lead Marketing initiatives for an Rx product.
- Highly operational, willing to roll up sleeves with a bias for action.
- Strong demonstrable track record building consumer-oriented brands.
- Experience in building teams including executives and a strong manager/people leader.
- Passion for animals, especially dogs.
- Low ego and able to work with scientists and other technicals.
- A clear, direct, and concise communicator.
- Ability to work independently, highly reliable.
- Willing and excited to educate the company and bring along for the ride.
- Preference to someone who has reported directly to a Founder/CEO before.

Salary Range: $240K - $300K
