Advanced Practitioner for Neurology Group

We are seeking an advanced practitioner to become a part of our team and work in our Chula Vista, CA clinic. You will focus on providing high-quality patient care. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, and/or adjacent fields preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
2. The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision.
3. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
4. The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, and promote safe continuity of care.
5. Participate in clinical meetings, provide education and support, and make appropriate referrals.
6. Document services rendered.

Job Qualifications:

1. California NP or PA license required.
2. DEA.
3. Previous experience in neurology preferred.
4. Ability to build rapport with patients.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong leadership qualities.
8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
