Position Overview:

The Assistant Spa Manager is responsible for the daily organization and management of guests, schedule, inventory, and the Hospitality Team. This role includes training team members on their job responsibilities and ensuring their performance meets the standards set forth in the operations manual.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the interviewing process for the Hospitality Team.
  2. Organize front desk training upon hiring and ensure team members meet expectations and follow all policies.
  3. Coordinate Hospitality Team schedules and review time punches to minimize discrepancies and overtime.
  4. Review daily guest schedule and ensure it is maximized with minimal gaps.
  5. Track and monitor monthly sales performance of the Hospitality Team and set daily Retail to Service sales goals.
  6. Create quarterly team meetings and agendas.
  7. Perform corrective actions when team members do not meet expectations.
  8. Address guest feedback immediately with the Spa Manager and the employee.
  9. Perform a daily review of the Ratings Control Panel within Meevo.
  10. Inform Spa Manager of any closeout discrepancies.
  11. Ensure guest experience meets and exceeds satisfaction by completing and filling out the Guest List daily.
  12. Perform duties of Spa Coordinator and/or Spa Concierge when needed.
  13. Ensure proper lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy as set forth in the Ambiance Standards.
  14. Abide by all protocols set forth by THE WOODHOUSE SPAS CORPORATION.
