About The Role:

The Occupier Solutions Leader will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, proactively creating sales cycles for new and expanding business, and collaborating with colleagues across the CBRE organization to drive top priority business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, new client acquisition, strategic sales, and possess cross-functional acumen of CRE occupier services, including CRE Core Consulting, CRE Technology, Facilities Management, Project Management, and Transaction Management.

Excellent analytic and critical thinking skills, strong knowledge of the CRE space, and interpersonal skills are critical in this role.

What You'll Do:

  1. Lead, collaborate, support, and manage new business development opportunities.
  2. Proactively identify new business development opportunities and develop strategies.
  3. Collaborate with CBRE business leaders to drive insights and actionable ideas.
  4. Lead with creative solutions and engagement tools for business development initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver significant results in client relationships.
  6. Identify best practices and roadblocks to client development excellence.
  7. Share client development best practices across the organization.
  8. Partner with CBRE Service Line Leaders to ensure alignment and communication.
  9. Monitor pursuit effectiveness and ensure lessons learned are integrated.
  10. Collaborate with Marketing and Strategic Initiatives teams to execute initiatives.
  11. Use Salesforce/CRM for all client development activities.
  12. Other duties may be assigned based on the company’s goals.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus.

10+ years of experience in business development, new client acquisition, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.

Strong executive presence and ability to work closely with executive-level teams.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization.

Proven ability to use influence to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in commercial real estate is required.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $200,000 annually and the maximum salary is $250,000 annually. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
