About the opportunity:

We are looking for a strategic HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and enhance our HR processes. Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations, you will support day-to-day operations, including new employee onboarding, HR administration, and compliance, fostering healthy workplace practices throughout every department. You have a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle to provide the ultimate white glove service to our employees who are our internal customers and increase their satisfaction. You will operate with a high degree of integrity and transparency to ensure Jerry’s People operations are reliable and seamless.

How you will make an impact:

• Provide an immersive onboarding experience for new hires to highlight how their role has real impact on the business and the business of our customers.
• Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs. Help gather feedback from employees and contribute to creating an inclusive work environment.
• Maintain accurate employee records, assist with benefits administration, and ensure HR data is up-to-date in HRIS systems. Help with the preparation of HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide basic guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support the HR team in addressing employee concerns and resolving issues.

Preferred experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience.
• Master’s Degree in HR, IO psychology preferred.
• Certification in SHRM or HRCI preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements.
