I am seeking a Civil Practice Lead with extensive experience in civil engineering, particularly in land development.

Ideal candidate would be a Civil Engineer, P.E. licensed, with 10 years of local experience in Land Development.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead strategic planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects.
• Direct project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.

Engineering:

• Oversee site grading, drainage, roadway, utility, and structural design.
• Utilize advanced design software, including Civil3D and GIS, to implement best practices.

Team Leadership:

• Inspire and mentor engineering teams.
• Provide support in overcoming technical challenges and pursuing professional growth for team members.

Client Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, offering valuable insights and recommendations to enhance project outcomes.

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to contribute to the firm’s growth.
• Collaborate with business development teams to prepare proposals and participate in client presentations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
• Leadership: Proven success in leading engineering teams.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Business Development: Experience in proposal writing and project acquisition.
