Job Summary

As an IT and EIM Engineer III you will help build and evolve our IT engineering practice by developing and evolving processes, tooling, and automation. You will work to ensure that all identity and access management functions are properly implemented and IAM projects are completed on time, as well as managing and improving our internal IT systems. With a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and resolving systems design weaknesses, prioritizing troubleshooting efforts and pinpointing resolutions to complex issues surrounding access to systems and automation, working in partnership with our product teams. You will create and engineer solutions for internal IT, focusing on removing friction and complexity, while maintaining and enforcing business and security policies. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in enterprise identity management, Active Directory, O365, Azure, core computing services, networking, and desktop support.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing ongoing medium to high complexity maintenance, Run-The-Business (RTB) support and act as a technical backstop for incident/service requests related to IAM.
  • Planning and live deployment of IAM turnkey solutions including onboarding of client applications.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to team members and recommendations for process improvement to management.
  • Lead IAM projects for application and infrastructure efforts providing support for technical IAM capabilities, gathering requirements, creating recommendations, and implementing solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and increase IAM technical knowledge and capabilities through training, investing time to understand and communicate technical/organizational direction and cross training.
  • Provide knowledge sharing, as recognized SMEs, in the form of efforts such as writing complex knowledge articles, relationship development with staff, mentoring, and staff technical development.
  • Active Directory and O365 Administration: Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, Office 365 environments to provide seamless support and services.
  • Cloud Management: Utilize and manage cloud services on Azure and AWS platforms to enhance our internal and client-facing infrastructure.
  • Partner with the IT Helpdesk team to provide solutions and guidance to better support end users.
  • Performing complex technical troubleshooting, determining root causes, and providing resolution to issues.
  • Work independently and proactively solve problems without being directed by others.
  • Mentorship and training for other team members from a technical and process perspective.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), account management, or equivalent fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, cloud, or related roles.
  • Proficiency and expertise with Microsoft based infrastructure and core computing services (Active Directory, DNS, IIS).
  • Experience and technical understanding with Okta or a similar identity management platform.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management and Privileged Session Management.
  • Experience and proficiency with identity management in various web-based SaaS and productivity tools including O365, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Experience with the implementation, configuration, and administration of directory software and tools to include the following: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Okta, and AWS account management.
  • Experience with multifactor authentication solutions, credential management systems (CMS), public key infrastructure (PKI), SAML SSO, Federations.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages like PowerShell, Python, or others.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology, Computer Science, a related field in technical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Desired: IAM – Recognized Certification (CIAM, CISSP, CISA).
  • Desired: Project management experience or certification.
