Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to join our team of professionals.

As a vital role charged with the management of both people and processes, the Branch Manager will be responsible for all phases of the branch office, with areas of responsibility including Warehouse, Operations, Customer Service, and Inside Sales. They provide leadership and guidance to a team of employees who are performing a wide variety of tasks. They will be responsible for setting department budgets, managing appropriate staffing, structuring daily priorities, maintaining service levels, managing project schedules, and delivering continuous training and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, document, analyze, and report on warehouse and customer service metrics by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (on shipping time, fill rate, backorders, sales performance, customer feedback, etc.)
  • Ensure inventory management activities are performed according to procedure and policies (cycle counts, inventory variance reporting, slotting, replenishment, consolidation, etc.)
  • Oversee and ensure that all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Customer Service and Inside Sales teams through the analysis of phone data, average order values, order errors, and overall time in presence to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Ensure customer service and inside sales staff are consistently providing new or complimentary product solutions to customers while serving them on the phone as well as face-to-face in our showroom.
  • Oversee that counter staff is re-stocking the showroom and performing cycle counts as required.
  • Foster a culture where employees across all departments are comfortable bringing ideas on how to improve processes, procedures, and overall customer experience.
  • Hold responsibility for the overall hiring, training/developing, and supervising of branch staff for the purpose of achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Drive and facilitate activities that improve coordination, communication, and teamwork between warehouse operations, customer service, inside and outside sales.
  • Perform any other duties related to the position assigned by immediate leader.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership position, ideally in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including commitment, communication, motivation and team-building, pursuit of excellence, and exemplifying Richelieu's Five Core Values.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial reports, or other profit & loss/EBIDTA statements is ideal.
  • Superior communication skills, able to successfully collaborate with various internal team members and external suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Organized and goal-oriented, with experience managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as order accuracy, customer satisfaction, sales performance, and/or similar metrics.
  • University degree or some college is preferred, but not required.
