Job Description

A varied role, working as In-House Fund Attorney you will:

  • Represent private funds (hedge funds and private equity funds) on a variety of matters: compliance, regulatory, capital raising, marketing, investor relations, fund formation & fund structuring work.
  • Draft and negotiate fund documents, side letters, placement agreements and fund materials.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and wider legal function.

The Successful Applicant

Demonstrable qualifications/background for the In-House Fund Attorney:

  • J.D. and admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state/good standing, state bar.
  • 3+ years Fund experience within Big Law essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, FINRA regulations.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a wider team.
  • Excited by a varied portfolio of work, assisting/advising multiple internal business units including senior stakeholders.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the US now/in the future without requiring visa sponsorship.
