LIMS Manual Test Engineer

Title: LIMS Manual Test Engineer
Location: Los Angeles CA (Hybrid)(locals are highly preferable)
Duration: 06+ Months
Skills: LIMS, Azure DevOps Testing Tools
Visa: Except CPT all work visa are acceptable.
Years of experience: 5 plus

Responsibilities:

1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in laboratory management or laboratory informatics, with a strong understanding of LIMS systems and their applications.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, concise documentation.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
4. Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
5. Familiarity with laboratory operations, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
6. Knowledge of industry-specific standards, such as GLP, GMP, or GCP, is a plus. Certification in LIMS or laboratory informatics is a plus.
7. Expertise in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans. Resources will have to build test cases of LIMS Applications with minimal specifications currently available for reference.
8. Well-versed in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
9. Not expecting resources to have HistoTrac LIMS Application Manual Testing experience but should have good experience in other LIMS manual testing.
10. Ability to perform DB verification using SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency in backend DBs.
11. Must have experience with Azure DevOps Testing Tools.
12. Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodologies.
13. Good communication and collaboration skills.
