Power Electronics Engineer

Phase Technologies is looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to work in developing new products based on power switching technology. The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will play a critical role in the R&D, project development design, testing, and validation of these products.
Phase Technologies designs and manufactures innovative electronic products based on power switching technologies. Since 1999 the company has been the leading manufacturer of digital phase converters and digital power conditioners for commercial and industrial applications.
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop of new products and modifications to existing products around customer needs.
• Provide engineering expertise in the area of design, analysis, and testing of Converters and Inverters.
• Strong grasp on power converter topologies and ability to select power converter architectures.

• Propose testing, write test plans, gather and analyze data to experimentally verify the design
• Manage multiple tasks to ensure timely fulfillment of project objectives and deliverables.
• Design components to meet overall performance and structural requirements
• Generate reports based on the design, analysis efforts, and results

• 2+ years of relevant power electronics experience
• Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics.
• Participate in design reviews with internal and external customers and various team members to meet the requirements of the program
• Possess skills in communication, organization, teamwork, attention to detail
