Schedule: This is a full-time role with NO weekends!
    • Monday: 7:45am - 5pm
    • Tuesday: 7:45am - 5pm
    • Wednesday: 7:45am - 5pm
    • Thursday: 7:45am - 5pm
    • Friday: 8:45am - 4pm
    • Saturday: Off
    • Sunday: Off
Responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
  • Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop a relationship with the patient.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
  • Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
  • Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), are preferred but NOT required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Dentrix is a plus!
