REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must Haves: 5-10 years of professional experience in a Networking role in the telecommunications industry Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standards Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including: Casa C100G, Arris E6000 and Cisco cBR8 Working knowledge of switch platforms including: Cisco NCS/ASR and Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global looking for a Sr Network Engineer to join a growing team for a large telecommunications company in Englewood, CO. On a day-to-day basis this engineer will Troubleshoot and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues. They will also perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps as well as provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Additional requirements may including testing and tuning security devices and systems, programming routers and switches and implementing communications technologies (data or voice).
