Job Description
Account Specialists are an essential role that ensures a seamless end-to-end sales practice on behalf of the sales organization. The Account Specialist is the first point of contact for AD Retail Media’s CPG partners.
Account Specialists provide pivotal support to Account Management team members that partner with leading CPGs (Consumer Packaging Goods) brands across our Great Local Brands. Account Specialists facilitate the necessary steps throughout the sales process (research, processing of insertion orders, change requests, media planning, optimizations, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) management, etc.). They provide effective and regular communication with our CPG partners and internal functional teams to ensure continued business success.
Account Specialists work across multiple work streams to ensure proficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail and provide the necessary communication to ensure client satisfaction is met.
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively regularly with CPGs to provide updates and support through various methods (email, regular meetings, etc.)
- Report and address any CPG and internal business partner’s questions and provide solutions
- Assemble any promotional materials and communications to new and existing clients
- Manage their individual and team’s work schedules and project plans to meet specific deadlines
- Research, review and provide solutions to customers and sales representatives to solve any issues
- Partner with the Account Manager and provide assistance to the products, services, and requirements of each assigned POD.
- Serve as an advocate and a backup point of contact for assigned accounts
- Prepare account summaries accurately and within required times
- Partner with expert organization skills to maintain and improve the Account Manager and leads internal process, meetings, timelines, and approvals.
- Provide support in data management, case tracking, and sales/revenue analysis
- Assist the account services team with evaluation of program performance measures and effectiveness.
- Have a deep understanding of each CPG partner and provide proactive recommendations and solutions
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of retail, ecommerce, and digital industry
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Products
- Experience in CRM tools
Skills/Qualifications/Abilities
- Efficient time management skills – able to sustain timeline management and campaign deliverables
- Ability to think creatively and ‘outside of the box’ to bring to life promotional and campaign events
- Strong organizational skills to effectively provide support for a large number of CPG accounts
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Work with a positive attitude and leadership when prioritizing tasks and practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or business administration
Experience
- 2+ years of Account/Client Management Experience and/or experience in sales, marketing and/or business administration
