Job Overview:

Looking for a seasoned Administrator to join our team at our assisted living community in Waupun, WI. We are committed to providing exceptional care and creating a nurturing environment for our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living Director to lead our team and ensure that our community continues to offer the highest quality of care and services.

Position Overview:

The Assisted Living Director will oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, including staff management, resident care, and facility administration. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and best practices in senior care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, train, and supervise a team of caregivers, administrative staff, and support personnel.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to staff.
    • Ensure that the facility is adequately staffed and that all shifts are covered.
  2. Resident Care:
    • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
    • Ensure that all residents receive high-quality care and support in accordance with their care plans.
    • Address and resolve any resident concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure that the facility complies with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance and prepare for regulatory visits.
    • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards.
  4. Facility Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents.
    • Manage the facility’s budget, including staffing costs, supplies, and other operational expenses.
    • Implement and manage systems for inventory control and procurement.
  5. Quality Improvement:
    • Monitor and assess the quality of care and services provided, implementing improvements as needed.
    • Develop and lead staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Review and address feedback from residents and their families to continuously improve service quality.
  6. Community Relations:
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and the community.
    • Represent the facility in community events and outreach programs to promote the facility and its services.
    • Handle inquiries and conduct tours for prospective residents and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience: is preferred within this field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; excellent problem-solving abilities; proficient in using management software and tools.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of assisted living regulations, senior care best practices, and facility management.
  • Certifications: WI Assisted Living Administrator license or certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
