Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst 3 to: develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. This role involves studying and implementing federal security regulations that apply to company operations, obtaining rulings and interpretations for compliance with regulations, preparing manuals outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records. The analyst will also conduct security education classes, security audits, and investigate security violations, preparing reports specifying preventive actions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of security or security related experience. An additional four years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Current Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Organized and efficient at time management.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a CPSO.
Active Top-Secret clearance.
Working knowledge of Workday and SIMS applications.
Working knowledge of Lenel access control systems.
Working knowledge of DISS and JADE applications.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision.
OPSEC program experience.
Classification review experience.
Prior TSCO experience.
Experience in multiple operating environments including Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP), and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
Willing to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Detail-oriented with meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
Salary Range: $84,600 - $127,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
