Pediatric Intensivist Opportunity in an Outdoor Wonderland
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing healthcare team at Timpanogos Regional Hospital, part of the MountainStar Children’s Network in Orem, UT (Utah County).
- 2 physician practice providing care to pediatric patients in the combined 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU with occasional tele-consultation with our satellite pediatric inpatient unit in Ogden, UT.
- No newborn coverage required.
- 24/7 split coverage of both units with rounding in the morning and then call from home after business hours.
- Cover an average daily census of 4-6 combined PICU/pediatric patients.
- Also responsible for outpatient sedations mostly for MRIs, averaging 1-2 per week.
- Work closely with a network of pediatric subspecialty providers including cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, craniofacial/plastic surgery, otolaryngology, and interventional radiology.
- Comprehensive pediatric programs with nutrition, child life, case management, and administration support.
- Provide support to a large collegial network of primary care pediatric providers.
- The hospital includes a robust Level III NICU.
- Can support Visa Physicians.

BC in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Critical Care.
