Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry in Chandler, AZ

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights, 4 weekend shifts per schedule
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years
**License:** Active RN License
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
**Must-Have:** Ability to titrate cardiac drips, ability to interpret EKGs, pass dysrhythmia exam and Sim Lab on orientation day
**Job Description:**
- Float between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units, including potential to float to ICU and Cardiac Telemetry based on skill level
- Provide care in various settings such as Cath Lab, ER, observation floors, and hallways
- Engage in floating duties between two campuses with notification prior to shift start
- Participate in centralized telemetry and manage patient ratios typically 1:3-4
- Work closely with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and Patient Care Technicians
- Handle common diagnoses like post-cath lab patients, post-surgical neuro patients, and general telemetry cases
- Follow a schedule that includes every other weekend working requirement
- Wear navy scrubs while on duty
- Engage with pharmacy and respiratory therapy staff available 24/7
- Participate in a floor-specific orientation lasting two days
- Document using the Cerner charting system
- Work in an acute care setting with the possibility of floating mid-shift
