Cloud Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for deploying and managing applications in the Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Cloud Solutions: Develop and document architectural blueprints for cloud solutions using Azure services.
• Migration Strategies: Plan and execute migrations of on-premises applications to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards within cloud architectures.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Establish monitoring solutions to track application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs, processes, and best practices.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with Azure services and industry trends to continually enhance the cloud architecture.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in cloud architecture and design.
• Certifications: Azure Architect Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory).
• Experience with cloud security, networking, and identity management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
