Android Lead Engineer

What You'll Do

• This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the client regarding any requirements related to Android development.
• Work with the Product Manager and Designer to design and develop our Android application.
• Involvement in the complete development cycle - product development, test automation, CI/CD pipeline, and application development.
• Provide technical leadership in the end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions.
• Work with technical leads, managers, and Product stakeholders to define and manage the technical roadmap.
• Prepare and present potential technical solutions and advise the business on approach and tradeoffs.
• Provide high-level effort estimates in the absence of detailed requirements.
• Communicate solution approaches to architects, project teams, and other stakeholders.

What You Know

• Need strong Android hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of lead experience.
• Work experience in Design Systems or knowledge of Design Systems.
• Working experience and expertise in Compose.
• Working with Figma.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Will require showing demos for components and coaching the team for adoption of the libraries.
• Knowledge of Dependency Management System - GitHub Submodules, Artifactory.

Nice to have

• GitHub workflow automation.
• Knowledge of Python, JS, React, React Native.
• Style Dictionary.
• Code Documentation.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation Band

• $130-140k per year.
