Grades K-8: Director of Catholic Identity/Full-Time: Educate and inspire students to know and love Jesus Christ and the Church He gave us. To help form a culture of Catholicism for teachers, staff, and students rooted in experiences and formation that will draw our school toward deeper conversion.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Promote, build, and inspire Catholic Identity with the whole school.
2. Mentor and develop home room teachers to plan engaging prayer services/liturgies weekly.
3. Craft a strategy to increase students’ understanding of the Mass to create an onramp for weekly Mass at the school.
4. Teach Theology Class (tentatively 3rd and 6th-8th grades).
5. Investigate Virtues in Practice to integrate into Leader In Me programming.
6. Plan/lead faculty prayer services once a month.
7. Work with the principal to develop a professional development to be used to form the staff in the Catholic faith over the course of the year.
8. Improve relations with students’ families and their understanding of the Catholic faith.
9. Increase connectivity between St. Monica St. George Parish and Corryville Catholic School.
