Performance Engineer

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is in need of a Performance Engineer. The Performance Engineer is responsible for design, technical strategy, and architectural development of the performance scripts for end user applications.
Responsibilities include:

• Analyze and translate project Non-Functional requirements into technical requirements and develop performance testing workload models
• As a Performance Engineer, you will develop policies and procedures for incorporating performance engineering into software development life cycle
• Optimize both customer facing and internal systems to handle expected traffic volumes
• Meet with internal clients and project teams for performance evaluation roadmaps, timelines, schedules, and cost
• The Performance Engineer will manage and optimize the performance test environment

Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree preferred - Technology Performance * 5 years of related Performance Testing experience and 2 years of performance architect experience * Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment * Familiarity with Azure and AWS concepts and technologies required * Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role * Ability to be self-sufficient to assess environment, analyze requirements and recommend the optimum solution at the corporate level
