Position offers a starting salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

  • Our goal is to automate more tasks in our release process, in order to reduce the complexity and time to introduce updates into production.
Your day-to-day activities:
  • Collaborate with senior SW/calibration staff to develop, test, document, and maintain fuelmap and software releases within existing release tools and databases for production and service.
  • Iron out the details of assembling different interrelated components to streamline the release management process.
  • Communicate and plan crucial release plans and changes with a diverse group from both the production, service, and development arenas, such as engineering teams from performance, emission, eMobility, and OBD.
  • Maintaining release schedules for powertrain ECUs and ensuring it aligns with major stakeholders
  • Support deployment for trucks in reliability growth test, pre-series builds, production builds, and post-production field releases.
  • Analyze and resolve programming issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Interact and coordinate deliverables with other technical groups in the organization.
  • Create and execute validation test plans (Release testing).
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Bachelor of Science with an Engineering/Computer Science program OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required.
  • Clear understanding of the Software development lifecycle
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas/expertise:
    • Project management or release management tools
    • Vehicle testing/ validation
    • Software /fuelmap / calibration release/ testing
    • Programming/ Programing tests
    • Vehicle fleet/Reliability growth support
    • Plant support functions, plant release testing
    • Calibration or integration expertise
    • Database management expertise
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
2-4 years of experience preferred in one of the following roles:
  • Release Manager/Engineer: creation and/or release of calibrations, fuelmaps, Parameters, diagnostic files, etc. for service or production plants.
  • Plant/Service Release Support: Service/plant support for programming releases
  • Data Science Engineer: Task automation experience in plant/release processes; identifying the health of a release management process
  • Project Manager: cross-functional coordination of multiple teams up to delivery
