This company is rapidly expanding and is seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to build and implement a financial system that supports its multi-division operations. With operations spanning coffee roastery and distribution, flagship retail cafés, and a growing fine dining restaurant portfolio, this is an exciting opportunity for a financial leader to shape the company's future.

The Role

As the Group Financial Controller , you will lead the design, implementation, and management of financial systems across the company's various divisions, ensuring real-time data tracking and analysis. You will work closely with the leadership team, department heads, and operations teams to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role is ideal for a proactive, solution-oriented individual with a passion for building efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Implementation : Lead the implementation of ERP, POS, and inventory management systems, ensuring seamless integration and real-time financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting : Provide accurate, timely financial reporting and insights to support the company's growth strategy. Develop financial models to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements across accounting, finance, and operations. Ensure the company's financial controls and compliance standards are met.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to align financial systems with business objectives and ensure the seamless operation of financial processes.
  • Hands-on Leadership : Be actively involved on-site, especially during system implementation phases, collaborating with department heads and operational teams to ensure financial systems capture the necessary data.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience : 5-7 years of experience in finance, ideally with a background in wholesale, retail, or related industries.
  • Systems Expertise : Strong experience in implementing ERP, POS, and inventory management systems.
  • Skills : Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency with financial software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel.
  • Project Management : Strong project management skills, especially in financial system implementation and process improvement.
  • Personal Attributes : A proactive, hands-on individual with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
