CodeHS is looking for an Account Executive to help grow CodeHS and bring computer science education to more schools, districts, and students. Your primary responsibility will be managing a pipeline of leads to increase the number of schools regularly using CodeHS on both free and Pro versions. You'll be working closely with teachers, school administrators, and school districts.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with teachers and administrators to help them reach their goals for offering computer science and turn them into customers.
  • Communicate with school and district stakeholders via email, phone, and video calls, including demos to advocate the benefits of CodeHS to potential customers.
  • Manage a strong pipeline of leads and maintain accurate data using our CRM to hit quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Cultivate interest in upgrading among teachers using our free version.
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders from individual teachers in single classrooms to high-level district administrators.
  • Work closely with our Customer Success team, and actively communicate school and district needs to the rest of the CodeHS team.

Requirements

  • You are a great communicator.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about helping students and schools.
  • 1-2 years of professional sales experience.
  • Edtech sales experience a bonus.
  • No experience coding is required, but you should have an interest in learning.
  • 5-10% travel, company/department meet-ups are approximately quarterly and there may be conference travel.
