VA Central California Health Care System is currently seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist .
The physician provides patient-centered care, delivered by engaged, collaborative teams in an integrated environment that supports learning and continuous improvement. The Veteran's experience and health outcomes are improved with an emphasis on prevention through healing relationships in an optimal healing environment.
The full-time HEM/ONC physician must have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills as a member of the VA professional health care team and provide continuous veteran-centered care for a variety of medical ailments. This care includes but is not limited to assessment, diagnosis, treatment, laboratory, imaging tests, follow-up evaluations, and management of all patients with cardiac diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable or customary methods and techniques.
Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
Expected salary ranges from $320,000 to $350,000. May include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus. Candidates may be eligible for a Sign-on Bonus.
