Job Requirements / Description
Allstates Consulting Services has openings for field experienced Construction/Concrete Foreman to oversee civil construction at telecom cell sites for the installation of concrete pads, underground conduit lays, minor brick and concrete mortar work, site grading etc.
The job construction worker / laborer will work hand in hand with the site Forman and Electrician. The work will consist of the installation of concrete trenches, pouring concrete pads, setting in conduit, pulling in electrical cables, mounting cabinets and other activities.
This is a travel position with travel to other states. Will try to keep you in your market, but travel is a must and is not negotiable. Must be willing to be away from home for up to 6 weeks or so at a time. You must be willing to work as much and as long as the company needs you to work. If your away from home for 6 weeks or longer the company may allow 5 to 7 days off before going back out. Time off is up to the discretion of the manager and workload. There is no guarantee of work hours or length of time on the road. 50 to 60 hours a week is average but no guarantee.
As a construction worker/ laborer you will:
Have an UpToDate resume listing out your construction experience.
Must be able to perform all the duties for general construction work to include concrete and site layout, clean up, heavy lifting, moving materials, digging and standing for long periods.
Some experience setting in conduits and underground trenching is a plus.
Must be able to travel up to 3 or 4 weeks on the road at a time.
Be 100% Safety minded.
Possess your OSHA 10 Certification. (Company will provide CPR/First Aid and RF Safety certifications.)
Must be able to successfully pass pre employment background consisting of a 7-year criminal records check and 3-year Motor vehicle record check. Please be aware that some Felony and misdemeanor convictions may not be acceptable. Example: Violence, Sexual Violence, Public Trust or Certain Drug charges.
Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen.
