Status

This client is undergoing a net new NetSuite implementation in partnership with MHI, scheduled to go live in October 2024. The client would ideally like to have this contractor stay past the go-live date to assist with post-implementation support.

A family-owned apparel manufacturer with a rich legacy spanning over 45 years, undergoing a significant transformation by transitioning from JD Edwards to NetSuite ERP to streamline operations and drive efficiency.


Project Overview

The client is embarking on a new NetSuite implementation, aiming for seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations. The project will commence with a pre-project phase led by a seasoned project sponsor well-versed in NetSuite.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the NetSuite implementation project, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to the Statement of Work (SOW).
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify necessary system enhancements and ensure smooth integration with existing processes.
  3. Provide strategic recommendations for optimal implementation, particularly in Warehouse Management, Sales & Marketing, E-commerce, Fulfillment, and Accounting.
  4. Manage change effectively, guiding team members through the transition from JD Edwards to NetSuite.
  5. Oversee budgetary considerations and resource allocation to maintain project profitability.
  6. Serve as a decision-maker regarding ERP and internal system-related matters, leveraging deep ERP experience to drive informed choices.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience managing NetSuite implementation projects, preferably within the apparel manufacturing industry.
  2. Deep understanding of NetSuite modules and integrations, with hands-on experience in Magento integration being highly desirable.
  3. Strong leadership and change management skills, capable of rallying cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, able to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
