Accountant to join our team. This position will work across all business units to perform a
wide variety of accounting functions while leading the department in process development
and ensuring all accounting duties are completed.

Description
Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is looking for a driven, capable, and eager Senior
Accountant to join our team. This position will work across all business units to perform a
wide variety of accounting functions while leading the department in process development
and ensuring all accounting duties are completed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary accounting functions, including preparing all general ledgers, reconciliations and customized financial and managerial reports.
- Prepare monthly financial statement package and management review.
- Give presentations at client, shareholder, and/or Board of Director meetings to review financial information.
- Responsible for substantive audit review and compliance testing, involving drafting and reviewing of audit reports and obtaining clean audit opinions.
- Provide advice on compliance requirements, investment regulations and current accounting developments that affect the company.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare budgets and ad hoc reports.
- Working directly with our external audit firm to help with the successful completion of annual audits and reviews.
- Exploring opportunities to improve the financial reporting processes, including improvements to existing controls.
- Working on monthly close accounting processes to help facilitate the timely completion of the month end close.
- Capturing new leases/modifications accurately in the accounting system.
- Determining appropriate accounting treatment of acquisitions and sales.
- Assisting with special projects, including technical accounting research and preparation of proforma information.
- Assisting in the preparation of various budgets, forecasts and detailed financial analysis for the company.
- Maintain accurate accounting data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- 3+ years' experience in accounting
- Public Accounting experience preferred
- CPA a plus
