Description
Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is looking for a driven, capable, and eager Senior
Accountant to join our team. This position will work across all business units to perform a
wide variety of accounting functions while leading the department in process development
and ensuring all accounting duties are completed.
Responsibilities:

• Perform all necessary accounting functions, including preparing all general ledgers, reconciliations and customized financial and managerial reports.
• Prepare monthly financial statement package and management review.
• Give presentations at client, shareholder, and/or Board of Director meetings to review financial information.
• Responsible for substantive audit review and compliance testing, involving drafting and reviewing of audit reports and obtaining clean audit opinions.
• Provide advice on compliance requirements, investment regulations and current accounting developments that affect the company.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare budgets and ad hoc reports.
• Working directly with our external audit firm to help with the successful completion of annual audits and reviews.
• Exploring opportunities to improve the financial reporting processes, including improvements to existing controls.
• Working on monthly close accounting processes to help facilitate the timely completion of the month end close.
• Capturing new leases/modifications accurately in the accounting system.
• Determining appropriate accounting treatment of acquisitions and sales.
• Assisting with special projects, including technical accounting research and preparation of proforma information.
• Assisting in the preparation of various budgets, forecasts and detailed financial analysis for the company.
• Maintain accurate accounting data

Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• 3+ years' experience in accounting
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• CPA a plus
