Senior Data Scientist
CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design analytics to solve business problems. Preprocess and perform exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data. Create features based on expertise in the domain. Use predictive modeling techniques and statistical analysis to predict outcomes and behaviors. Develop business cases, capture requirements, and create solutions that drive the business. Design data collection instruments, database management, analysis of data, and creation of reports and dashboards. Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and Multivariate tests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning or related field.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis and machine learning.
- 2 years of experience with SQL, including writing complex queries and building out reporting.
- 2 years of experience with Python and R.
- 2 years of experience with common data science toolkits in Python, including Jupyter Notebooks, Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, MatplotLib, Seaborn, and NLTK.
- 2 years of experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques and algorithms, including Clustering, Topic Modeling, K-Means, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, and Neural Networks.
- 2 years of experience designing, running and analyzing experiments with A/B tests and Multivariate tests.
- 2 years of experience in statistics including distribution analysis, probability theory, statistical testing and regression modeling.
