What you'll do
Docusign is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Core Service Infrastructure team in San Francisco or Seattle. As a member of this team, you will work across our eSignature platform building next generation software and services. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with their product and engineering partners. You will be responsible for solving difficult problems related to product features, performance, speed, scale, security and accessibility. You will help the team succeed by thinking outside the box, suggesting opportunities for improvement, and modeling engineering best practices.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering.
Responsibility
- Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test
- Architect, implement and maintain services, define and ensure SLOs
- Work with world class telemetry systems and make data informed decisions
- Think through how systems will scale and fail as they grow, and ensure observability
- Collaborate with fellow engineers on designs and code reviews
- Take complicated problems and break them down in to bite sized pieces
- Proactively identify and raise issues that may impact delivery commitments
- Troubleshoot and fix production issues, and maintain the codebase
What you bring
Basic
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years industry experience in Software Engineering
- Experience with C#, other object oriented programming languages
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or CosmosDB
- Experience with public cloud (Azure or AWS), Kubernetes and micro services
- Experience with git, continuous integration and deployment tools
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET), XML, JSON, NoSQL Databases
- Experience with KQL, PromQL, SQL, or similar query languages to gain insights
- Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
- Experience shipping highly available, scalable services on Azure
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $129,000.00 - $182,250.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary
Washington DC: $134,900.00 - $190,550.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
