**Job Title:** MRI Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Interventional Radiology
**Job Duration:** 16 weeks
**Shift:** Evenings, 5x8, 1530-0000
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years; experience in Peds Radiology/Imaging required
**License:** A.R.R.T. registered upon hire
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS); Must obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year of hire
**Must-Have:** Excellent communication and patient care skills
**Job Description:**
- Perform specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist.
- Provide essential patient care during MRI procedures.
- Apply principles of MR safety during all procedures.
- Work with equipment including GE 1.5 and GE 3T; use Visage as the PACS system.
- Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Handle various patient types, including vented patients and anesthesia cases.
- Adhere to the dress code with specified scrub color.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, which include pushing, pulling, carrying, gripping, climbing, reaching, bending, balancing, and hand coordination.
- Participate in rotating weekend call as required.
- Complete orientation with specified hours.
The position requires a successful completion of an accredited Radiography program and offers opportunities to work with a dynamic team in providing top-notch imaging services.
