Job Summary: The General Manager will be responsible for the dealership's overall success, including establishing the dealership, setting up a service and repair shop, and managing daily operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the EV industry, a proven track record of leadership and management, and strong brand development, sales and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the initial setup and establishment of the EV dealership and service center.
- Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures to achieve company goals.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales, service, and support team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies and customer engagement.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Oversee the setup and operation of the service and repair shop, ensuring it meets all technical and safety standards.
- Implement efficient inventory management and procurement processes.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the EV industry, particularly in dealership operations and management.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in setting up and managing an EV dealership and service center.
- Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology, parts, and service requirements.
