Personal Injury Case Manager | The Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm

Salary: $25/hour-$28/hour DOE

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: Full Time; Hybrid or Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Personal Injury Case Manager to join our dynamic team at the Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm. With a team of experienced attorneys, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. As a Personal Injury Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients who have suffered personal injuries, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need throughout their legal journey.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Support: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, demonstrating empathy and compassion while addressing their questions and concerns throughout the legal process.
  2. Case Management: Manage a portfolio of personal injury cases, ensuring all necessary documents, records, and deadlines are met.
  3. Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, attorneys, and insurance companies to provide updates on case progress.
  4. Documentation: Keep detailed records of all case-related activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  5. Negotiation: Assist attorneys in negotiating settlements by creating comprehensive demand packages for submission to insurance carriers and opposing parties.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 Years of Customer Service Experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills – demonstrates a sense of empathy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior experience in Customer Service, Case Manager, Legal Assistant, or similar role within a Law firm is preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in pre-law, legal studies, or a related field is preferred, but not required
