As Human Resources Business Partner, North America Sales you will partner with the NA Sales leadership team to collaborate with the wider HR community to define and execute the HR strategies in alignment with the business objectives.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with robust subject matter expertise, is business savvy, and a compelling influencer, consultant, coach and trusted advisor. Experience in delivering organizational change is also highly desired. The ideal candidate isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves given the role's responsibilities include both strategy and execution, owning work end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisor and coach to members of the NA Sales leadership team. Participate in leadership meetings and contribute as a business leader.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business operations, objectives, NetApp sales segments and motions to help develop/implement HR plans to deliver strategic value.
  • Hold the primary strategic and tactical relationships for your respective client groups providing guidance and coaching on key business strategies and initiatives.
  • In alignment with the company objectives and in partnerships with HR COEs, develop, drive and execute HR people strategies & programs.
  • Build strong and trusted working relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, peers at all levels and influence for the good of the company.
  • Regularly assess client groups and promote best practices in people management, presenting complex matters, clearly and concisely to enable leaders to implement people solutions in alignment with company strategy.
  • Coach, counsel and act as trusted advisor to your client group.
  • Interpret HR analytics and share these insights with senior leaders to enhance their understanding of people issues.
  • Partner with the wider HR teams and COEs to implement best practices and contribute towards driving a unified and consistent employee experience.
  • Champion and drive for leadership ownership on best-in-class standards for the NetApp employer brand.
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture where equality thrives in both opportunities and outcomes.
  • Lead change management initiatives ensuring effective communication, addressing challenges, and promoting a positive and adaptive culture.
  • Support in the establishment of a high-achievement culture, overseeing initiatives to help enhance sales attainment, employee productivity, engagement, and ultimately business results.
  • Share and learn from best practices and help our HR team continuously improve the way we work and deliver for our stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Have 8 years of HR experience including demonstrated examples of driving results through HR business partnership.
  • Technology industry is preferred.
  • Has driven or been part of a team that has implemented complex business transformation.
  • Has strong executional mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate strategically and have a hands-on approach driving a high performing team culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Understands business management processes at a high level, is analytical and data driven, with a high level of business acumen.
