Staff Accountant

Superior Auto, Inc. is a regional Buy Here, Pay Here automotive group that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. • Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies
• Create and make General Ledger postings for insurance, interest accruals, and property tax schedules
• Post invoices, credits and debits to appropriate ledger accounts.
• Responsible for reviewing and balancing assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and execute daily banking transactions including cash concentrations, auctions/wholesalers and vendor payments, uploading and depositing checks.
• Process weekly over-on-payoff and rollovers in Account Manager
• Prepare the entries, reconcile, and print financial statements of the internal Real Estate companies in QuickBooks on a monthly basis.
• Support other Accounting Functions as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business or 1-3 years Accounting Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products
• Experience with Great Plains and QuickBooks software
• Ability to communicate effectively
• A valid state driver's license, with limited moving violation within the last 3 years
• Ability to prioritize schedule when business needs arise
