Job Description
The RISC-V Community Marketing Manager is fully dedicated to supporting community events, groups, alliances, and partnerships to grow RISC-V influence and support in local and regional endeavors with measurable impact. The role will play a key role within RISC-V and the broader RISC-V community with support from peers across RISC-V and The Linux Foundation.
Top candidates will bring experience in vision and hands-on execution, across multiple domains of developer advocacy, community events, alliances, and regional community marketing with global brand consistency and turnkey resources to foster community engagement at all levels. Depth across marketing disciplines including AR/PR, marketing, events, online content cultivation, stakeholder engagement, and community development are essential. Candidate will be results oriented and able to track progress and pivot quickly to adopt industry best practices and course adjustment while managing and tracking initiatives within budgets, timelines, and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Local and Regional Event Strategy & Calendar Management
- Coordination with and support local and regional community event leaders
- Support marketing for the RISC-V Ambassadors and Advocates programs
- Provide global amplification, sponsorship, registration, and engagement support for local and regional events
- Full life cycle Promotion & Communication, cultivation of turnkey resources
- Post-event Analysis and Reporting
- Integration of Education Initiatives Across Events, & Member Benefit programs
- Influencer and Affiliate Partnership for Growth
- Leverage marketing technology software and resources to expand and measure reach and impact of RISC-V content, preferred experience in Google Analytics & HubSpot
- Ensure adherence to branding and event guidelines, provide branding support to local organizers
- Marketing support for RISC-V Alliances program both through support of current members and growth of additional partnerships.
- Partner and coordinate with community stakeholders, external agencies, RISC-V, and Linux Foundation peers on:
- Community Event messaging and content
- AR/PR and influencer strategies
- Website strategy, content development and evolution
- Developer experience
- Global and regional strategies as well as industry specific engagement
- Relevant market research
Key Performance Indicators
- Event Attendance, Lead Generation, Satisfaction Scores
- Event ROI and NPS scores
- Social Media Engagement during Events
- Training and certification Enrollment Numbers
- Alliances and Partner Program Growth
Qualifications:
- 8 years of progressive marketing experience in technical environments
- Strong understanding and technical acumen in microprocessors and related industry applications
- Experience in Developer Advocacy, local, and regional technical events and community building
- Strength in global relationship building and partner marketing
- Ability to engage and positively influence multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with and energizing external communities on complex technical topics
- Proven campaign success promoting and supporting products that have developers as a customer
- Experience in modern marketing software
Preferred
- Experience working with Open Source projects and communities
- Advanced degree in a Marketing or related field
- Video marketing experience
