The Sr. Alliance Account Manager manages alliance business development efforts by negotiating and working with carrier and broker alliance partners and has ultimate accountability for successful alliance performance. You will evaluate alliance products and rating plans and provide comparative analysis, track and report alliance offerings. You will report to the Director, Insurance Operations – Licensing.
Primary Accountabilities
- You will manage 18-22 carrier relationships.
- You will provide daily service to sales during and after implementation of alliance products and inform management of positive and negative outcomes.
- You will lead the post-implementation reviews of alliances to determine if the outcomes of the alliance are consistent with the assumptions used in the pre-decision analysis.
- You will work with external partners and the Legal division to negotiate complex contracts for all partners.
- You will develop knowledge of industry and competitor activities by attending industry functions, and membership in industry organizations and committees.
- You will analyze alliance product information relative to market potential, competition, products, loss experience, and potential profitability of market segments.
Qualifications
- 1+ Year of partnership management experience
- Commercial insurance product knowledge
- Insurance designation such as AINS, ARE or CPCU
- Sales experience including developing relationships through prospecting
- P&C Producers License or the ability to attain one
