Location: Clackamas, OR (Onsite)

Pay: $35 - $40 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7am-4:30pm. Friday 7am-11am.

A Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components. Specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, production runs, CAD design, commercial valve repair, and mold repair.

What you’ll do:

• You must be flexible as process and planning can change from the original plan and we need to adapt as changes are made.
• Ability to have a strong customer focus as we are a custom machining job shop and our customer is our top priority.
• Ability to create a plan to process parts with all details defined using the customer's print.
• Ability to identify issues that arise during the manufacturing process and determine the most efficient and cost-effective fix.
• Ability to understand the standards we are trying to comply with before estimating the job.
• Communicate with personnel & contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks.
• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.
• Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
• Create labor estimates for any project.
• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Manage bids from vendors and contractors.
• Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.
• Present prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders.
• Compile and record actual costs.

What you need to have:

• Good communication skills
• Machinist Experience
• Strong math skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Strong print reading and GD&T understanding
• Ability to manage competing deadlines
