A leading general contractor construction firm is currently seeking a Project Manager specializing in overseeing land development and civil construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing 2-3 project engineers or assistant project managers, ensuring responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
This contractor operates primarily in the Boston Area, so the Project Manager is not expected to travel often. Responsibilities:
- Bid package preparation, prepare bid tabulations, and offer suggestions for selections by owners
- Directing scheduling, budgeting, and bidding
- Reviewing requests for changes and providing approval
- Interacting directly with clients, managers, vendors, and other contractors
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience)
- 10 years of experience in field management preferred
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and design of construction projects
- Strong leadership, people, and communication skills
