About The Role

As Director of Sales North America, at ZeroMission you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and closing sales opportunities. You will be supported by Marketing and Lead Generation functions. We use HubSpot CRM to manage leads, track customer interactions, and ensure a seamless sales process. Your primary goal is to meet or exceed sales targets by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Sales Planning:
    • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the North American region, with clear goals and KPIs.
    • Identify and develop new target accounts and business opportunities within North America.
    • Ensure a clear positioning of ZeroMission in line with the company’s mission and values.
  2. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build and lead a high-performing sales team across different North American markets.
    • Provide coaching, training, and motivation to the team to achieve sales objectives.
    • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and sustainable values.
  3. Account Management and Client Relationships:
    • Develop strong relationships with existing clients and identify growth opportunities.
    • Negotiate complex contracts and ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
    • Maintain a customer-focused approach by monitoring trends and client needs in the market.
  4. Financial Management and Revenue Growth:
    • Responsible for achieving annual revenue targets in North America.
    • Develop and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and reporting.
    • Analyze sales data and market insights to drive continuous improvements in the commercial strategy.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
    • Play an active role in the development of new services and products based on customer feedback and market trends.
    • Support the management team in developing long-term strategies for ZeroMission’s growth.

About You

  1. Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a commercial role with a proven track record of leading international sales teams, preferably in the transportation, third party logistics or adjacent fields.
    • Experience in creating sales strategies in complex, international environments.
  2. Skills:
    • Strong leadership skills and experience in people management.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in closing large deals.
    • Results-oriented with a deep understanding of market analysis and strategic planning.
    • Fluent in English.
  3. Personal Attributes:
    • Strong affinity for sustainability and the mission of ZeroMission.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at the C-level.
    • Innovative, entrepreneurial, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
    • Willingness to travel within North America.
