The Garrity Family Medicine Clinic is now hiring for a full-time, team-oriented and personable Medical Assistant for our clinic located on Sister Catherine Way near our Nampa Medical Center .
Position Summary & Highlights
- This position will work 1:1 with a very busy family practice provider and will also support family medicine providers and a team of other MAs and RNs when needed.

What You Will Do :
- You will primarily support a very busy family practice provider and will also support family medicine providers and a team of other MAs and RNs when needed.
- You will also be administering immunizations, assisting with minor procedures such as circumcisions, and completing tasks and orders in the task inbox.
- An ideal candidate has previous LPN or MA experience, is very detail-oriented, has excellent patient flow and pace skills, and confident communication skills with providers and other staff.
- You are outgoing, easy-going, enjoy problem-solving, and are a strong team player.
Work Schedule :
- 40 hours per week, 4 - 10's, Tuesdays - Fridays, Mondays off.
- This provider starts seeing patients at 7:00am, so this role will need to be at the clinic by 6:45am and will finish the day around 5:30pm.
- Shift start and end time can vary based on provider's schedule and clinic needs.

MA Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Technologists (RMA)
- National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- For new MA graduates , minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required even with MA certification.
