Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
We are hiring a Medical Assistant for a temporary position that could lead to full-time. You will help with patient care, such as taking vital signs, preparing them for exams, and handling paperwork. You must live within 45 miles of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take patients to exam rooms, check their vital signs, and help prepare for exams.
• Keep patient charts up to date and handle phone calls.
• Schedule appointments, process billing, and handle insurance forms.
• Assist doctors during exams and with paperwork.
• Ensure patient information is entered correctly.
Required Qualifications:
• Completed a Medical Assistant course (if hired after November 3, 2019).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Medical Assistant Certificate.
• Experience working in a medical office.
