ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Manage day-to-day project or account work, adapting quickly as needs arise.
  • Serve as trusted counselor to day-to-day client contacts.
  • Effectively manage several projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
  • Lead internal team through internal status meetings and project kick-off meetings.
  • Identify missing insights and work with the team to seek answers.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth and diversification, huddling with account leadership to develop plan for realizing the opportunity
  • Understand connections between projects and the macro scope of work, proactively identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  • Review first drafts from team and provide actionable feedback, revisions or suggestions for cross-functional collaboration to improve upon deliverable; ensures deliverable is in a client-ready state for account leadership to review
  • Understand clients' individual motivations, needs and strengths; understand clients' team dynamics, including internal stakeholders and partner agencies
  • Anticipate needs and next steps on projects, initiating them in concert with account leadership.
  • With input from team, in collaboration with finance, and based upon project budgets, prepares final billing /budget trackers/invoices for account leadership review and approval
  • With input from team, prepares final draft proposals/scopes of work based on solid understanding of the assignment and cross-functional team collaboration; collaborates with Project Management to ensure budget estimates align with proposal
  • Maintain intermediate knowledge of marketing and technology tools.
  • Gain deep understanding of the macro industry associated with a client account.
  • Fulfill responsibilities and role of an Associate as situations arise, while proactively seeking staffing solutions to delegate Associate-level work.
  • Support new business efforts as requested by leadership.

Additionally, the ideal candidate meets these qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a BtoB environment
  • Prior roles in marketing, communications, advertising, and/or PR
  • Willingness and availability to travel periodically
  • Understanding of the agriculture industry and/or issues management is a plus
