The LPGA’s Senior Director, Talent Management, is an impactful role and leadership opportunity. The Sr. Director will directly oversee HR Business Partnership, Payroll and Benefits efforts for the association, inclusive of player benefits. More than that, they will be a formidable partner to the business, a talent strategist and thoughtful people manager of their team. They’ll work hand in hand with leaders across the association as the LPGA continues its focus on being both a worldwide leader in sports and an employer of choice. This hybrid role reports directly to the Chief People & Internal Operations Officer (CPIOO). It is based at our headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, leaves of absence administration, and other aspects within the employee life cycle
  • Manage a team of two full-time employees as part of the Talent Management Center of Excellence
  • Partner with and counsel leaders across the association in managing their teams, verticals and establishing functional people priorities
  • Lead compliance training development and execution for all staff
  • Manage compensation structures and systems, including Rewards & Recognition programs
  • Supervise the administration of biweekly payroll and applicable tax filings
  • Lead performance management process, including annual reviews, development, and calibration
  • Manage the employee relations processes, ensuring diligence and compliance
  • Oversee HRIS administration in partnership with Head of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Partner with CPIOO, Talent & Culture, and Finance in compensation and workforce planning
  • Contribute to succession and business continuity planning, including overseeing key reporting for executive leadership and board of directors

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant leadership experience in human resources in a similar role
  • Capable people manager of high-performing, inclusive teams
  • Demonstrated experience working as a HR business partner, including but not limited to a track record in leading employee relations and performance management processes
  • Experience with the administration and management of company benefits and payroll cycles
  • Strong coach, with ability to counsel and partner with leaders across business units
  • High attention to detail, critical thinker, and experience with reviewing and interpreting people analytics
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Extensive technical knowledge and expertise in HR, compliance, and employment law
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization or sponsorship
