Salary Range: $140K-$190K DOE annually

Position Summary:

Command Cyber Solutions (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified Senior Integration Specialist - Operations Center (XOC) who will support the 2026 Census Test Technical Integration Program.

The Mission:

The Decennial Census plays a critical role in our nation's governance, informing congressional representation and guiding the allocation of $1.5 trillion in federal funding each year. In preparation for 2030, T-Rex is seeking highly skilled and motivated Integration Specialists to join the 2026 Census Test IT (26CT) Integration program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Integration Specialist on this program, you will play a key role in laying the groundwork for the design and integration of the technology infrastructure that will underpin this high-profile mission. Integration Specialists are responsible for ensuring that all components of the 26CT systems work together seamlessly, efficiently, and securely. You will develop and mature advanced systems that:

1. Facilitate comprehensive data collection using cloud computing, mobile technology, and data analytics.
2. Support nationwide field operations, enabling coverage of hard-to-reach populations.
3. Improve government efficiency with the use of modern technologies that reduce complexity and drive right-size scaling to meet operational demands.
4. Design and integrate mobile device solutions, field IT infrastructure, and identity management systems to support nationwide data collection.
5. Develop and implement an integrated operations center and help desk system to manage and monitor census operations in real-time.
6. Conduct comprehensive gap analysis and risk assessments to ensure all systems meet operational requirements.
7. Plan and execute rigorous testing to validate solution interoperability, scalability, and performance under realistic operational conditions.
8. Collaborate closely with Census Bureau teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs.
9. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and solution architecture design recommendations and provide actionable insights to inform planning for the 2030 Census.

Education, Experience & Certification Requirements:

1. BA/BS with five (5)+ years experience leading projects focused on Operations Center (XOC).
2. US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which involves a background investigation to determine suitability for access to sensitive data.
3. Ability to use creative problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
5. Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
6. Experience working in a government or public sector environment is a plus.
7. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field desired.
8. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cisco, PMP) are a plus.
9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively.
10. Passion for public service and a commitment to the mission of the Census Bureau.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

As a Senior Integration Specialist focused on Operations Center (XOC), you will be involved in designing and implementing the command centers that will monitor and manage Census operations in real-time, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of the Decennial Census.

1. Experience designing and implementing 24/7 Network and Security Operations Centers.
2. Proficient in integrating SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar with monitoring systems for real-time event correlation.
3. Knowledge of ITIL incident management and problem management processes for effective issue resolution.
4. Expertise in developing operational runbooks, escalation procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

1. Basic office work environment at government facility location.
2. Hours of operation are M-F during core business hours.
3. Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days.
4. Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer.
