Senior Accountant
Location: Livermore, CA
Job Type: Hybrid (4 days), FTE
Salary Structure: 90K base
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
The Senior Accountant will fulfill a critical role for our rapidly growing company within our dedicated accounting team. This position will be primarily responsible for month-end close, financial reporting and assisting for analysis, system governance, maintaining the General Ledger structure, supervising, and supporting AP, AR, Payroll, and other functions within the accounting department.
Inventory management and QuickBooks Enterprise Version experience are preferred.
- Take full responsibility of all aspects of the month-end process, able to meet deadlines & prepare financial statements and other financial reports in a timely manner.
- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports in a timely manner.
- Building budgets, forecasting for operations team as well as special projects.
- Work with other accountants to fully execute QuickBooks functions in supporting sales and service operations, facilitate the interface transaction to Salesforce and ADP.
- Take charge of inventory control, facilitate monthly inventory count activities with service and accounting staff.
- Oversee AP and work with Inventory logistic management and procurement PO, providing guidance and assistance to accounting staff.
- Full charge of AR & Customer relationship.
- Collaborate with the sales and service operations team to ensure smooth accounting transactions and provide best support as needed.
- Work with managers to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Work with CPA firm on TAX Task.
- Assist ADP semimonthly Payroll process & prepare reports as needed.
- Assist in system implementation and enhancing accounting procedures.
- Assist with office and team operations in other areas and in various projects.
Skills/Qualifications:
- B.S. in Accounting from an accredited college is required.
- 8+ years of broad range of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities. Experience in inventory control preferred.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience OR abilities to lead a small team of staff.
- Skilled in preparing accurate and complete financial reports from accounting records.
- QuickBooks experience, Intermediate to advanced level Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- A pro-active attitude.
